India: Main industrial company setting up a winery looks for technical partners

10.06.2011 We are interested in setting up a wine manufacturing Industry at Karnataka, the southern state of India. It is 400 Km from Bangalore and within 100 km from three sea ports.
We have sufficient industrial land and looking for TECHNICAL KNOW-HOW as well as FINANCIAL participation for joint venture wherein you can have 30 to 40 % equity shares.
We have following assumptions:
The initial production capacity, as we presume, will be 150000 liters per annum which will be increased by 30% every year.
The plant capacity will be 500.000 liters consideration expansion in five years.
The estimated cost of project would be Rupees 4 to 7 crores depending on the cost of machinery selected.
BACKGROUND OF PROMOTERS: The promoters have been in Machine tool & Engineering business since last 40 years and have been working with large corporate like Honda, Suzuki, Mahindra, Tata, Hero Honda, Birla Industries, etc

EXISTING BUSINESS ACTIVITIES OF PROMOTERS: They are into manufacturing of filtration systems, chilling units, conveyors, skimmers for use in large scale industries. The other division is a 100% Software export company, provide custom development solutions for clients worldwide.
Though they are prominent industrialists, they don't have much experience in wine industry. There are several vineyards spread around this area and those can be hired for grape supplies. Yes, we have adequate 4 acres land for setting up the wine industry,
The basic intention is to manufacture wine of International quality for 100% export or with buy back policy.
